The AANRO database is being redeveloped therefore no new data is being added to the database. 

The redevelopment is funded by the members of the Primary Industries Standing Committee (PISC), the Natural Resources Management Standing Committee (NRMSC) and the Research and Development Corporations (RDCs).

Land and Water Australia has been appointed as the managing agents for the redevelopment of AANRO.

A tender for the redevelopment of AANRO has been called and it is hoped the successful tenderer will be announced soon.

• meet the expectations and needs of stakeholders;
• improve access to research and information;
• improve the process for capturing research-in-progress;
• concentrate on quality of service rather than only on processes ;
• provide new services;
• create efficiencies and time-saving for users;
• improve brand recognition by target audiences and
• promote research and publications of the stakeholders
